Reha Training Klinikum Leverkusen - Greg’s recovery from his injury

On August 18,2019, during a preparation game playing for the Bayer Giants of Leverkusen, Greg went down with a rupture in the patella tendon. A few days later, he had a surgical procedure done by a surgeon in Cologne, Germany by the name of Christopher Offerhaus to repair the ligament. He had his rehabilitation at the Reha Training Klinikum in Leverkusen. Working with physiotherapist Uwe Wasserman, and fitness Coach Markus Reß for 4 1/2 months, Greg emerged successfully without any delay and finished his rehab earlier than expected. He worked hard and dedicated himself to get his knee strong and stable to be ready to compete again.

Statement from Logins: Wow, what can I say. It was a disappointing situation for me. I worked so hard over the previous summer to prepare for the season, and boom, a huge injury and my first big one. At first I was really upset, because I knew I would be out for a while. But then again, I came to realization and accepted that there was not anything I could do, but go through the process and work hard for my comeback. I knew with the mentality and grind mode that I have, I’d do everything above and beyond to put myself in the best possible position to be even stronger physically and mentally. This injury has shown and taught me a lot, and also made me define myself in many positive ways. I feel great, painless, and fit.
